The Legal Aid Centre of Asian Law College established in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority, Gautam Buddh Nagar, is elated to conduct SUPREMUS DE CONSTITUTION 2023-a competition dedicated and devoted as a tribute to the framers of the constitution.
The competition is open to all the batches of BALLB and LLB to showcase their wisdom on Constitutional Law. The main purpose of this event is to examine the subject knowledge of the students regarding their understanding of the constitutional provisions and to bring out the student having the best knowledge of the same. This competition will consist of three rounds namely Questionnaire Round which will be followed by the Buzzer Round, which will be the criteria for selecting the finalists. After the Buzzer Round, the Extempore Round will be taking place amongst the three selected finalists and the student who wins this Extempore Round will be declared THE SUPREMEUS OF THE YEAR 2023.
The ideology behind the competition is to encourage and motivate the students to generate curiosity towards the Constitution of India and to make them understand the provisions so that they are able to imbibe the essence of the subject as the same is imperative for any law student. The Constitution of India is the supreme law of the land which validates all other laws and students are expected to have in-depth knowledge of the constitutional provisions. The competition will also help the students in confidence building and making them ready to cater the outer world. The competition further aims at promoting the students interest in the law subjects by conducting such activities wherein the students enjoy the activities and also reap the benefit of the activities by acquiring the knowledge simultaneously. The Legal Aid Centre of Asian Law College is taking forward the same ideology and is expecting to have a healthy competition amongst students from various batches of ALC.
