The entire process of governance thrives on public policies as it is an effective face of state and society. The development of a society in social, economic and political areas is completely dependent upon the policies formulated by the government. Accordingly, there is an evident interface between Public Policy and Law. Hence, this course of B.A.LL.B. has been planned in compliance with the developing and changing nature of socio-economic conditions of the society. This course is based on new developments in the aftermath of Globalization and Liberalization, which has resulted in the evolution of market-forces. Multifaceted integrated insight is the true hallmark of this course.
The main purpose of this program is to provide comprehensive knowledge base to the students of law. Asian Law College offers integrated five years undergraduate educational program of B.A.LL.B.
To be eligible in B.A.LL.B. Degree Program:
- The student should have passed senior secondary school examination or an examination equivalent thereto, securing not less than 45% (40% in the case of SC/ST U.P. Domicile) in the aggregate,
- The student should be below the age of 20 years (general category) and 22 years (SC/ST category- Domicile U.P.) as on 1st July of the year of admission, and
- The students appearing or appeared for the annual examination in March/April, are also eligible to apply.
- The Afore-mentioned rules are subject to the guidelines issued by CCS University and Bar Council of India.
- The College reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student in accordance with the rules.
- Students who fail to clear the qualifying examination (ALCAT) with the requisite marks will not be considered eligible for admission into this course.
Duration of the Course
The course of B.A.LL.B. shall be for a period of Five Academic Years. Each year is divided into two semesters.
The sessional terms will be announced in advance every year for each semester.

Diploma in Media & Entertainment Laws
Diploma in Media and Entertainment Laws offers an engagement with legal aspects of media and entertainment regulations. Through this course, students gain insight into how the media laws are practiced in media houses to take better decisions in daily working.
Students are required to undertake inquisitive assignments to develop their ability to apply complex ideas and procedures to a set of fact situations. Familiarizing students with the fundamental areas of laws and the various rights and subject matters that comprise this broad legal category is the core objective of this elective. The course explores the theoretical premises, principles and polices that underpin the media and entertainment industry in select legal systems. Cyber law in India is gaining immense popularity due to drastic increase in the number of cyber-crimes committed in the country over the recent times.
