Day 2 of the Orientation Program

PANEL DISCUSSION ON THE SECOND DAY OF ORIENTATION ASIAN LAW COLLEGE B.A.LLB & LL.B ORIENTATION PROGRAM 2023 PROGRAM WITH EMINENT SPEAKERS

On 22nd August, the second day of the orientation program organized dynamic panel discussion featuring eminent speakers from various facets of the legal profession on the topic of “Entrepreneurial Edge in Legal Domain” was which was graced by Mr. Anshul Gupta Founder & CEO of MikeLegal, Mr. Bhaven Shah Co-founder of Presolv360, Mr. Ramanujan Mukherjee, Co-founder and CEO of LawSikho.com and Mr. Pranjal Sinha, Co-founder and CEO of SAMA as Guests of Honour in the presence of Dr. Saleem Akhtar, Director of Academic Advisory Board, ALC and Mr. Ashish Bhardawaj, Assistant Dean, ALC.

The event began with felicitating the eminent speakers of the session which was hosted by Ms. Priyanka Yadav, Assistant Professor ALC, and the taking session ahead Ms. Kajul Sharma, Assistant Professor of ALC, skillfully moderated the discussion, steering it towards understanding the career journeys of the guest speakers. Mr. Gupta and Mr. Mukherjee their experiences with AI in the legal field. They highlighted the ways in which AI is revolutionizing the legal landscape, streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and delivering more accurate outcomes.
Ms. Priyanka Yadav, with grace and eloquence, took the stage to express her heartfelt gratitude through the Vote of Thanks.

Following lunch, the event began setting the stage for insightful discussions by felicitating the eminent speakers of the session which was hosted by Ms. Minakshi Bansal, Assistant Professor ALC. Mr. Ramanujan Mukherjee, taking the stage as the guest of honor engaged the students by sharing his personal journey and the challenges he faced, emphasizing how he overcame obstacles to achieve success in the legal and entrepreneurial spheres. He highlighted how technology and entrepreneurship are reshaping the legal landscape and urged students to embrace these changes to stay ahead in their careers.

In the final discussion panel, Mr. Pranjal Sinha took center stage, sharing deep insights into mediation and arbitration. The discussion was thoughtfully moderated by Mr. Amit Nagar, Assistant Professor and Convener of the LL.B program. Mr. Sinha shared his entrepreneurial journey, focusing on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and online dispute resolution (ODR) services within the legal domain. The discussion delved into the benefits of ADR, including cost-effectiveness, time efficiency, confidentiality, and flexibility. The discussion concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing students to seek clarification and gain a deeper understanding of ADR and ODR.

The students left the discussion with a deeper understanding of the integration of AI into legal practice and how they can prepare themselves for a technologically advanced legal profession.
At the conclusion of the event, Ms. Minakshi Bansal stepped forward to convey her gratitude and appreciation through the Vote of Thanks to the attendees, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event.
