Association with the Hon’ble Allahabad High Court and District Legal Services Authority for the Indianisation of Legal System

Asian Law College is elated to announce the association with the Hon’ble Allahabad High Court and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Gautam Buddh Nagar.

Having successfully organized numerous impactful events in the past, Legal Aid Center, in collaboration with the District Legal Service Authority of Gautam Buddh Nagar, are once again ready to take on a significant initiative. This time, we are honored to lead the translation efforts for judgments pronounced by the Allahabad High Court into vernacular languages and Hindi.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Allahabad High Court for entrusting us with this vital task. We are confident that, with the guidance and expertise of our distinguished faculty members and the dedication of our students, we will make a meaningful contribution toward promoting accessibility and inclusivity in the realm of law and justice.

Ensuring affordable and accessible justice is a fundamental aspect of upholding the principles outlined in Article 39A. The District Legal Service Authority in Gautam Buddha Nagar has been diligently working towards enabling access to justice, aligning with both the Constitutional mandate and the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. However, the diverse linguistic makeup of the Indian population often poses linguistic barriers within the judicial system.

To bridge this gap and facilitate a more inclusive legal framework, the Allahabad High Court has joined hands with Asian Law College. This collaboration aims to undertake the crucial task of translating judicial pronouncements into vernacular languages and Hindi. Through this initiative, we aim to enhance comprehension and accessibility within the judicial machinery, thereby promoting justice for all.
