NAVIGATING THE PROFESSIONAL WORLD: STRATEGIES FOR BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL CAREER

The Alumni Association of Asian Law College organized Coffee Chat with Alumni Mahima Sharma on February 22, 2024. The session commenced with a cordial welcome address by Mr. Amit Nagar, Program Chair, LL.B. and Ms. Divyasha Dubey, Program Chair, B.A. LL.B. emphasizing the importance of fostering strong links with our outstanding alumni and the substantial benefits that their experiences can provide to current students. The main purpose of this session was to provide students with a better understanding of the professional world and advice on how to navigate their career routes. The session narrowed down the divide between theoretical education and practical implementation, equipping students to tackle future obstacles.

Ms. Mahima shed light on her legal professional background and provided an overview of her notable accomplishments and valuable contributions to her field. Subsequently, she participated in an open dialogue with the budding lawyers, delving into several facets of her career trajectory. She imparted insightful teachings on surmounting obstacles, the significance of building connections, and the proficiencies necessary to thrive in the contemporary cutthroat landscape. The session’s interaction facilitated direct student engagement with her, enabling them to ask questions and seek guidance, resulting in a highly engaging and instructive experience. She shared practical advice and real-life perspectives, which the students valued and anticipate, will assist them in their future pursuits.

The session ended successfully achieving its goal of educating students about the practical dimensions of their professions and the importance of ongoing learning and flexibility.
