The Legal Aid Centre of Asian Law College organized a legal awareness camp on the occasion of Children’s Day on 14th November at Kanya Inter College Campus, Bhangel, Noida. The objective of this awareness camp was to make students of primary classes aware of the cleanliness and hygiene practices, no littering, bullying, and good touch and bad touch.

The Awareness Camp commenced with an interactive session with the students, followed by the performance of skits and plays prepared by students from ALC specifically for this campaign. The program featured four skits centered on the theme of “Swachhta,” designed to emphasize the importance of hygiene in daily life. One of the plays, titled “Achha Khaan Paan,” highlighted the benefits of consuming healthy food over junk food, encouraging students to adopt better dietary habits. Another impactful play, “Bullying,” depicted the struggles faced by a student subjected to bullying, shedding light on the emotional and psychological toll it takes while promoting the message of “Say No to Bullying.”

The final segment featured a skit and song on the theme of “Good Touch, Bad Touch,” performed and sung by ALC students to raise awareness among children about personal safety and boundaries in an engaging and sensitive manner. The performances were thoughtfully curated to resonate with the students and provide them with practical and relatable knowledge. The session concluded with an open discussion where students were encouraged to share their thoughts and ask questions, ensuring that the awareness campaign was not only informative but also inclusive and empowering.

The campaign was meticulously designed to foster interaction, actively engaging students through performances and narrations delivered by volunteers. In celebration of Children’s Day, biscuits were distributed to all students as a gesture from the institute. The event concluded with the dissemination of essential helpline numbers, including the Child Helpline (1098) and the Police Emergency Number (112). The awareness camp was conducted successfully, achieving its objective of educating children on critical topics such as hygiene, bullying, and personal safety..
