Educational Visit to ‘Bharat Shiksha Expo 2024

On 12th November 2024, Asian Law College organized an enriching educational visit for B.A.LL.B. 2022 and 2023 Batches to the Bharat Shiksha Expo, held at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh in compliance with the notice of District Inspector of schools (DIOS) Gautam Budh Nagar. The college initiated this endeavor to provide students with a distinctive platform to gain insights from practical experiences. The students were accompanied by Dr. Palak Saxena, Assistant Professor of Media and Entertainment Law. This Educational visit offered a unique platform for students to explore cutting-edge technologies, creative projects, and educational advancements, providing invaluable learning experiences. Students from various colleges and universities showcased their projects, displaying a vibrant array of innovations like mini cars, buses, bicycles, carts, drones, and VR games. These exhibits highlighted students’ ingenuity and engineering skills, showcasing practical applications of modern design and functionality.

In addition to technological displays, the expo featured interactive events such as quizzes and poster-making competitions focused on mental health and well-being, underscoring the significance of balanced academic and personal lives. The students participated in the poster-making competition, presenting a thoughtful project on the impact of social media on youth mental health. Their presentation emphasized the potential negative effects of excessive social media use on self-esteem and mental well-being, aligning well with the expo’s theme of “Socially Responsible Innovation”.

Students also had hands-on experiences with advanced technologies. They explored electric vehicles, including an electric minibus, an open-rooftop mini car, and an electric cart. A virtual reality journey through space, facilitated by VR headsets, was an unforgettable highlight, sparking students’ curiosity and excitement. In addition to it, some students showcased their musical talents, singing and playing guitar, creating a sense of camaraderie and enthusiasm among attendees. 

The visit offered the students a dynamic educational opportunity, where they witnessed the practical applications of theoretical knowledge while understanding the importance of innovation, collaboration, and mental health awareness. The visit left students inspired, motivated, and equipped with fresh perspectives to integrate into their academic and personal growth journey.
