The Research and Development Cell is responsible for the formulation of the overall guidelines related to research and publication. The cell undertakes research projects on socio legal aspect.
It aims to advance education, research and outreach in key areas. They provide a forum where knowledge and understanding of socio legal aspects can be exchanged between the academic and other legal experts. The cell conducts research and organizes seminars, conferences, development programs, moot courts, client counselling, debate competitions and other legal activities.
Research is a continuous process of discovering, analysing and deliberating upon new horizons in various fields of study. Law and legal research has an all-pervasive impact on the way decisions are taken not only in the legal world but also in governments and societies. Fostering a conducive research environment and providing a platform for dissemination of quality research in law has been a constant endeavour of the Research & Development Cell at Asian Law School. In continuation of our efforts in this direction, we are pleased to present this bi-annual journal –ALC LEX Revista which focuses on the research that has the potential to lead the dynamic disciplines of law.
