
Dr. Akansha Rai is associated with Asian Law College as an Assistant Professor of Law. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from SGT University, LL.M. and LL.B. from Amity University. She has been empaneled with Doordarshan Prasar Bharati as Arbitrator and has completed a Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. She has also completed her mediation training under a High Court program. With over six years of experience as a practicing advocate at the Supreme Court of India, her areas of expertise include criminal law, constitutional law, and family law. She has published various papers in reputed law journals. Dr. Rai also runs an NGO focused on animal welfare and public legal aid where she actively files RTIs to promote transparency, accountability, and social justice.
