Steal the Show: A Hunt for the Master of Ceremony Competition

The Gnosis Literary Club of Asian Law College organized Steal the show, a Hunt for the Master of Ceremony Competition on November 21, 2024. It was organized to groom the stage presentation among the students. The competition provided a vibrant platform for students. Students from B.A. LL.B and LL.B. programs showcased their diverse talent. The primary objective of organizing this competition was to foster a spirit of stage presentation, diversity and to promote students’ linguistic skills. By offering this platform, the Gnosis Club aimed to uncover and nurture the hidden talents within the college, and to encourage the participants to develop their leadership and organizational skills.

The competition commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Amit Nagar, Program chair LL.B.  of Asian Law College addressing the students with the importance of enriching the law school experience beyond the classroom. The event was graced by the two esteemed judges Dr. Waseem Yusuf Makai Assistant Professor, CSD, Asian School of Business, Ms. Ankita Sharma Assistant Professor, CSD, Asian School of Business, along with the faculty members and the students. The competition featured different genres of performances across various formal and informal themes, including welcoming the guests in the orientation ceremony, Fresher’s Party, Hosting an Alumni Meet, Social Change Maker Award, International Conference, and Model G20, reflecting the students’ creativity. The students participated in the event with full enthusiasm. The audience present in the auditorium was captivated by the performances, which contributed to an encouraging atmosphere.

The competition concluded with an interactive session between the judges and students, during which the judges complimented the participants for their outstanding individual performances. Steal the show successfully achieved its goal of fostering a spirit of enhancing the creative thinking and reducing the stage phobia among the students, leaving participants and viewers with a memorable experience.
