Dr. Smriti Raturi Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Law at ALC. She has a Doctorate in Law from Amity Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Amity University.
Dr. Smriti has two Master’s degrees, with specialization in Human Rights and International Law. She also has two Bachelor’s degrees, i.e. Bachelors of Law and Bachelors of Science with Physics as a major subject. She topped her college with her Bachelor of Law degree. Dr. Smriti has two Post Graduate Diplomas, one in International Human Rights Laws and the other in International Environment Laws from the Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi. Dr. Smriti is a lifetime member of the Medico-legal Association of Maharashtra, Sion, Mumbai, Associate Member of The Indian Society of International Law, and a member of the Asian Association of Law Professors, Kathmandu, Nepal.
She has written extensively on Children’s Rights, Women’s Rights, Surrogacy, Juvenile Justice, Gender Mainstreaming, and Environmental Laws. She was a resource person for the Indo- Nepal Students Exchange program in 2019, organized by FIMT, Indraprastha University. She has authored many research papers and was awarded with best paper presenter awards in most of the research paper presentations. Dr. Smriti has also been a part of various Faculty Development Programs, Summer and Winter Schools in prestigious institutions in and around the world.
