Students exhibit amazing Shot Put talent at AEG’s 8th Annual Inter-College Sports Meet, ATHLEEMA 2020!

Sports, normally, forms one of the extra-curricular activities of a college curriculum. Today, however, it is an indispensable activity of every educational institution because sports form a part of play and the inborn play nature of students and the sports are inextricably linked with each other. As such, colleges organize sports obligatorily once or more as per the academic programme in a calendar year. It is truly a momentous occasion of joy and jubilation.

Conforming to this thought, Asian Law College (ALC) – which is a part of Asian Education Group (AEG) and is ranked as one of the top law colleges in Noida offering 5-year BA-LLB & 3-year LLB courses – recently held its much sought-after mega annual inter-college sports event – ATHLEEMA 2020-Season 8 – from 21st-23rd January 2020 with its traditional punch of excitement and grandeur, much accentuated by the glorious presence of the Indian football legend, Mr. Baichung Bhutia as the chief guest for the occasion.

In all, 50 top colleges of Delhi NCR participated in this mega inter-college sports meet including the two other constituent group colleges of Asian Education Group, namely Asian Business School (ABS) Asian School of Business (ASB).

The event hosted around 13 major sports including Shot Put – which is part of Athletics as a track and field event involving putting (pushing rather than throwing) a heavy spherical object the shot as far as possible.

The zeal and interest of the students in Shot Put forcibly let flow the already arranged programme with much enthusiasm and noise of joy.

After several rounds of powerful performances, the winners for the Shot Put were as follows:
