The Legal Aid Centre of Asian Law College organized Nukkad Natak and Poetry Competition for all the Batches of BALLB and LLB.
The Nukkad Natak was based on various themes related to Consumer Awareness, Cyber Frauds, Drug Addiction, Violence against Women and Unity of India. The students embraced and performed in their characters and delivered their energetic performance to the audience. Several teams participated in the competition, out of which 6 were finalized to be the part of the final round. All teams depicted the real-life scenarios of Cyber Frauds and Consumer Frauds where they all performed on their respective themes in order to spread awareness among the audience about how to tackle such situations. They also performed on the issue of drug addiction specially among the youths, it’s ill aspects and ways to overcome it. Caste based differences was another issue that was marvelously depicted and enacted by the students. All the teams have admirably picked up their respective social issues and provided awareness and methods to overcome such situations by giving a strong social message at the end. The students were lauded for leaving an indelible mark on the minds of the audience through their flawless performance.
Poetry Competition was over the themes of Gender Equality, development of Constitution, changing perspective of Law and inculcating a sense of pride in the Constitution. Through their poems, the students showed their love towards the country and their respect towards the constitution. The students were able to sway the audience with their talents of reciting the poem.
Both the Competitions were successful in achieving their objective of making the audience aware about the various social issues and the need to respect the laws and the constitution of the county.
