LAUNCH OF ORIENTATION COURSE IN NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION

Asian Law College, Noida, marked the successful launch of the Orientation Course In Nonviolent Communication on 9th February 2024, organized by The Gandhian Centre of Peace Studies & Non Violent Communication, in collaboration with Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti. Majority of students eagerly enrolled for the course, demonstrating their commitment to exploring this transformative discipline throughout the year 2024.

The event was graced by distinguished luminaries, including Dr. Jwala Prasad, Director GSDS, and Dr. Vedabhyas Kundu, Program Officer GSDS, who lent their invaluable insights. Mr. Ashish Bhardawaj, Assistant Dean of Asian Law College, added his esteemed presence, alongside Dr. Prity Sharma, Head of DSW and Faculty Coordinator of the Gandhian Centre at Asian Law College. Faculty members and enrolled students further enriched the occasion with their enthusiastic participation.
The program commenced with a gracious welcome extended to our esteemed guests, setting the stage for an enlightening journey ahead. Mr. Ashish Bhardawaj, in his welcome address, set a tone of warmth and inclusivity. Dr. Prity Sharma then took the audience through a poignant summary, encapsulating the shared journey of Asian Law College and Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, highlighting the collaborative efforts that have brought us to this significant juncture. Dr. Vedabhyas Kundu illuminated the audience with profound insights into the essence and significance of Nonviolent Communication, providing a foundational understanding that resonated deeply with the assembled students. The energy of the event soared with Dr. Jwala Prasad’s impassioned address, infusing the gathering with enthusiasm and a renewed sense of purpose, inspiring all present to embrace the principles of nonviolence in communication and beyond.

As a token of gratitude and respect, our distinguished guests were honored with mementos and shawls, symbolizing our appreciation for their invaluable contribution and gracious presence. The program drew to a close with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Divyasha Dubey, Program Chair B.A. LL.B. of Asian Law College, expressing gratitude to all who made this event possible and reaffirming our collective commitment to the journey ahead.
