Noida-based Asian Education Group (AEG) – considered as the largest center for professional media, management, IT, law, fashion & hospitality education in Asia with world-class facilities – recently held a workshop on “KNOW YOUR RIGHTS – AB SAMJHAUTA NAHI” conducted by Josh Talks in association with ITC Vivel. The event that was organized on Friday, 27th September 2019 had students of three of its constituent group colleges – namely, Asian Business School (ABS), Asian School of Business (ASB), and Asian Law College (ALC) – as participants. The venue of the Talk was the Noida campus of AEG and the trainer of the event was Ms. Richa Chadha, Trainer-Josh Talks.
The purpose of the workshop was to create awareness amongst the AEG students about their rights, and also make them recognize that gender and identity are two different things. More than 200 students attended the workshop.
The session enlightened the students about the current legal and social issues prevailing in the society and helped them understand their fundamental rights, its scope, its diversity, and its development. It also helped the students to develop an understanding of the issues like individuals’ fundamental rights, Gender Equality, Domestic Violence, Divorce, Alimony, and Inheritance.
On the whole, the session increased the self-awareness among the AEG students that would help them develop into strong and focused individuals contributing meaningfully to society.
