Heritage Club of Asian Law College, Noida in association with Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, New Delhi, organized a heritage exhibition on the theme “Heritage walk through a Legal Lens” on 26th October 2023. The purpose behind the exhibition is to develop the cultural awareness, appreciation, and historical understanding of the students with the legal aspects of the monuments.
The event started with the welcome of Esteemed judges Dr. Shweta Batra (Dean Examination, Asian Education Group), Dr. Prity Sharma (Head Student Welfare), and Dr. Mohd. Khalid (Professor, Asian Law College) followed by a group singing performance from the past honouring our heritage by the students. The exhibition was graced by the presence of faculty members, staff, and students of Asian Law College who diligently followed the exhibition and the brief presentation made by the exhibitors.
The students proudly presented their intricate models, vibrant paintings, and compelling posters to both the judges and the audience. They passionately elucidated the legal intricacies woven into the fabric of their creations. It’s impressive that they not only focused on the artistic elements but also delved into the legal aspects, demonstrating a holistic understanding of the subjects they portrayed. Among the remarkable exhibits were detailed renditions of iconic landmarks such as the Taj Mahal, Nalanda University, Sabarimala Temple, Statue of Unity, and Qutub Minar. These landmarks represent diverse aspects of India’s rich heritage, architecture, and cultural significance.
The participants’ faces reflected a captivating mix of excitement and nervous anticipation, heightened by the high standards set by both their fellow participants and the engaged panel of judges. Riktika of 2021 LL.B. Batch has secured the coveted first position, showcasing exceptional academic prowess and dedication to her legal studies. The event culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the addition of a mesmerizing group performance by the talented students of ALC provides a fitting and celebratory conclusion to the event.
