EXPERT TALK : INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS LAWS OF POLAND BY DR. JUDYTA LATYMOWICZ

Asian Law College, Noida organized an expert talk on the topic “Introduction to Business Laws of Poland” on 17th January, 2024 by Dr. Judyta Latymowicz, a distinguished legal professional recognized among Forbes’ Top 25 Women Lawyers in Business, 2023 and the first-ranked Rising Star Lawyer in 2022.  Currently, serving as the Partner and Head of India Desk at Legally.Smart, Dr. Latymowicz boasts extensive expertise in civil and commercial laws, particularly in contract law and issues related to the introduction of new products into the market with expertise in drafting contracts. The session was graced with the august presence of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chairman-Asian Education Group (AEG) and Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG), Prof. (Dr.) Saleem Akhtar, Director-Academic Advisory Board, Asian Law College, Mr. Ashish Bhardawaj, Assistant Dean-Asian Law College and the faculty members. The gathering was charged up with the welcome address of Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava and special address of Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The session proceeded further with the release of poster of an upcoming International Conference on “Recent Trends and Advancement in Corporate Laws and Governance”.

Dr. Judyta Latymowicz, shed light on her extensive experience as a commercial litigation lawyer dealing with disputes involving foreign entities, provided valuable insights into the complexities of the Indian market. Notably, she conducted a comparative analysis of business laws between India and Poland. Additionally, she emphasized on the importance of strategic advantages in minimizing the risks associated with legal disputes and enhancing the likelihood of success in commercial conflicts.

The session reached its conclusion with a formal felicitation of the keynote speaker Dr. Judyta Latymowicz. Mr. Ashish Bhardawaj, Assistant Dean-Asian Law College stepped forward to convey gratitude on behalf of the institution through the vote of thanks acknowledging her valuable contributions, insights and expertise shared during the session.
