“COMPUTER TRAINING WORKSHOP” IN APNE LOG NGO

A computer training workshop was organized in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and ApneLog NGO for the digital literacy and welfare of children on 27th January 2024 by Asian Law College, Noida. The students of B.A. LL.B., & LL.B. Program visited the underprivileged children associated with ApneLog NGO located in a rural part of sector 63, Noida on 27th January 2024. The visit has been organized to provide training to the children at ApneLog NGO for their digital enlightenment by providing basic computer training and guidance on technical know-how to these children like training for data entry operations, handling front office, maintaining official records, etc.

The session began with an introduction to basic computer components, clarifying their roles and functions to the children. Additionally, delving into practical skills, covering topics such as creating new folders, paints, etc. The children have been grouped with the assistance of teachers and support staff. Every group has been mentored by one student. The concerned mentors indulged in interactions with the participants and began to inspire them by acknowledging the educational rights of the children. The students got the opportunity to witness the initiative and action taken by ApneLog NGO in the rural phase of Sector 63, Noida.

The entire session was full of active participation of the children. Despite the lack of sophisticated equipment, the session saw active participation which helped in acquiring valuable insights into computer hardware and essential software tasks. The College is committed to exploring multidisciplinary approaches through its unique curriculum and revolutionizing legal education by making use of modern pedagogies thereby adapting to the changing world in which law professionals operate. A contribution by ALC students in line with the objectives of ApneLog NGO will be a step towards the technical advancement for these children which may help them to choose a path for themselves ahead.
