Asian Law College ( ALC ) , part of Asian Education Group ( AEG ) hosted the 10th Season of its Annual Sports Meet Athleema 2023 from Tuesday 04 April 2023 to Friday 07 April 2023.
The 10th season of the Annual Sports meet gave an excellent opportunity to the students to focus on Sports of their interest and it provided a unique platform for a healthy competition as students from all across India participate in this mega event of Asian Law College( ALC) . The 10th Season of Athleema witnessed around 65 Colleges participation with 3000 Athletes of different games competing for the Trophy, Medal and Prizes. The event was hosted by ALC at Netaji Subhash Sports Complex Jasola, New Delhi.
The students of Asian Law College successfully competed with some of the best colleges and universities students across India who have participated in the event. The presence of our Chief Guest Prince Narula- The King of Reality Show in the inaugural ceremony was a motivation for all the participants. The August gathering of Prof. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President -Asian Education Group , Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava Director- Asian Education Group, Mr. Saurabh Sharma Director- Asian Education Group and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina Director- Asian Education Group addressed the participants and shared the vision with which Asian Law College has been conducting The Annual Sports Meet : Athleema since last 10 years which is and always has been to bring sports to centre stage along with the academic curriculum. The culture of Sports and blending it with regular academic curriculum delivery is an integral and important characteristic of outcome based education which is disseminated at ALC for overall development of the students. It is a proven fact that the countries where sports are encouraged and its population takes part in the same are much healthier and prosperous. Asian Law College (ALC) which is one of the prime institutions of law is contributing effectively in the endeavour of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to raise awareness about Sports and fitness .
ALC makes an earnest appeal to all the citizens of India to at least play one sports of their choice everyday as sports contribute tremendously in the physical and mental wellbeing of a human being.
