ALC’s CULTURAL CLUB organizes skill development activity – FOLK GROUP SONG COMPETITION –  for B.A. LL.B. students

The CULTURAL CLUB of Asian Law College (ALC), organized a skill development activity by way of a “FOLK GROUP SONG COMPETITION” for its B.A.LL.B. 2018 & 2019 batch students on Thursday, 19th September 2019 at its Noida campus.

The objective of the activity was “to make students aware of the use of folk music and how it can be used to provide entertainment, chronicle events, and teach young people about their culture.”

The activity colored the entire campus with cultural spirit and enthusiasm. The students’ selection of songs was very good and totally folk in nature representing different parts of our country. Students tried to bring the best co-ordination and synchronization in their presentations.

As far as the results of the competition are concerned, the 1st position was grabbed by Group of B.A.L.L.B (2019) batch comprising of ALC students Prashant, Manisha, Abhishek, Akshit, Sudhanshu, Naaz, and Dimple.  The 2nd position was preserved by Group of B.A.L.L.B (2019) batch comprising of ALC students Himani, Vanshika, Unnati, Rahul, Vishesh, Ankit Kumar, Sejal, Farheena, and Arvind Kumar. The 3rd position went to Group of B.A.L.L.B (2019) batch comprising of ALC students Utkarsh, Aditi Sharma, Chandani, Amisha, Kanishka, Akshita, Rittul, and Asha Rawat.

 The outcome achieved by this activity was to make the feeling of brotherhood and fraternity alive among students through the folk songs being performed by them representing various states of India. Asian Law College ( ALC), part of Asian Education Group  ( AEG)   tried to attribute new dimensions to the concept of brotherhood and fraternity enshrined in our Indian Constitution through its Thursday Activity.
