ALC Convocation Ceremony – 2022

Asian Law College ( ALC)  witnessed its  Convocation Ceremony – 2022 on Saturday, June 18th, 2022 at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The Convocation commenced with the academic procession marching inside  the auditorium in which the dignitaries, namely, Mr. Vipul Sabharwal- Managing Director (Luminous Power Technologies Pvt Ltd.), Ms. Rachna Sharma- Founder- Phuro Innovations, Co-Chair; Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs, Dr. Sandeep Marwah-President- Asian Education Group, Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava- Director- Asian Education Group, Mr. Saurabh Sharma-Director- Asian Education Group, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina-Director-Asian Education Group, and Dr. Tarak Nath Prasad- Principal ALC, along with the Head of department, Program Convener  and the faculty members,

The dignitaries adorned the dais in their beautiful hats and robes. After the customary invocation song and lighting up the lamp, the programme coordinator welcomed all the dignitaries, invitees, parents, faculty, and graduates. All the dignitaries were felicitated with bouquets and mementos and were introduced to the gathering. Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director-Asian Education Group, then declared the graduation day open. The ceremony began with an endearing welcome address rendered by all the dignitaries, followed by the oath taking ceremony, which was recited by Mr. Ravi Sharma, Dean, Corporate Resource Cell, and repeated by the students.

ALC’s  Convocation ceremony was made more noteworthy with addition of the “Distinguished Faculty Award” which for 2022 year was bestowed on Dr. Prity Sharma ( Program Convener- ALC )  for creating a long lasting and positive impact in student’s life. The toppers of the B.A.LL.B. and LL.B. Programs namely K.M. Rachna ( LL.B. 2017- 2020), Nishi Gupta ( LL.B. 2018- 2021), and Aditi Aggarwal ( B.A.LL.B. 2016-2021 )  were awarded Gold Medals for their distinguished achievement in academics.

The Convocation Ceremony came to an end with a formal vote of thanks, delivered by Dr. Sunita Verma, Dean Students Welfare ( DSW), expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, stakeholders, management, teaching and non-teaching staff for their significant contribution in making the event successful.

After the Vote of Thanks Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director-Asian Education Group, declared the Convocation Ceremony closed and the function ended with the National Anthem.

The Convocation Ceremony was very well received by the Alumni of ALC  as the graduating batches students had the chance to intermingle with one another, snapping photographs wearing scholar’s robes and hats high up in the air. The students relived the memories they made at ALC along with enjoying high tea with their classmates at the convocation venue.
