The Moot Court Committee of Asian Law College (ALC) announces its 4th National Moot Court Competition 2023 in collaboration with Vidhisastras (Advocates & Solicitors) New Delhi, a globally acknowledged international law firm in the honor and memory of Hon’ble Late Shri Soli Jehangir Sorabjee, an Indian Jurist and Former Attorney-General for India. The competition will be organized on 25th – 27th February 2023 on campus and the theme of the competition is Constitutional Law. The competition aims to provide all the participants a golden opportunity to showcase their drafting, researching and mooting skills before the finest members of the legal profession who will be judging the various rounds of this competition. The objective behind this national moot court competition is to train the students for facing the real life courtroom scenario with confidence and to give the experience of practical knowledge to the students so that they can enhance their mooting skills. Students must be clear and vernacular while presenting a case and must understand the techniques of how to convince a judge in a courtroom. By presenting respective arguments before the finest members of the legal profession, the students come across genuine feedback on how to handle the given situation in a courtroom. It is imperative for the law students to be aware about the modern development and techniques in the area of mooting and to learn the same. The practical experience gained through participating in the moot court competitions can only bring out the best from the students and helps in transforming and developing the students in the holistic manner for their embarking journey as a legal professional at various national and international forums. Therefore, to give the handful of exposure, Asian Law College is elated to invite the team participation from the law students for the 4th National Moot Court Competition 2023 and is looking forward to witnessing a great and healthy competition.
