Asian Law College (ALC) is pleased to announce that it will be inaugurating the new batch of its flagship B.A.LL.B. & LL.B. Programmes on Monday, 26th October 2020. With the inauguration, a week long Orientation Programme will kick-start.
Like earlier years, this year’s Orientation Programme will provide a great opportunity to all the new students to explore the wide horizon of law by interacting with renowned legal professionals, industry experts, retired Judges and Senior Advocate who will be their mentor at the inception of their professional journey at ALC. However, unlike earlier years, in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and keeping in mind the social distancing norms, this programme will be organized virtually to benefit the students who are about to begin a new phase in their academic life.
The distinguished guests for the ceremony who will be gracing the ALC orientation 2020 with their august presence includes Hon’ble Justice Kurian Joseph, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Former Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, Smt. Maneka Gandhi, Member of the Lok Sabha and an Eminent Animal Rights’ Activist & Environmentalist, and Ms. Flavia Agnes, Renowned Indian Women’s Rights Lawyer.
The week-long ALC Orientation Programme will have representatives from different segments of the legal world to initiate the new B.A.LL.B. & LL.B. batch onto a new journey. The guest list for the orientation week includes Ms. Aishwarya Bhati, Additional Solicitor General of India and Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Ms. Aparajita Amar, Founder, Sexual Harassment Legal Compliance Advisory (SHLC), Mr. Arunachalam Muruganantham, THE REAL PAD MAN OF INDIA, Ms. Karuna Nundy, International Human Rights Lawyer, United Nations and Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, and Ms. Karishma Tanna, Indian Film Actress.
The programme will also witness the presence of distinguished personalities like Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, Asian Education Group (AEG); Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG); Mr. Saurabh Sharma, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG); and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina Director-Asian Education Group (AEG) who will be interacting with students, motivating them and providing them insight on ALC as an institution which is dedicated to disseminating clinical legal education.
