Asian Law College will be hosting Mr. Prashan Bhushan, Renowned Activist and Public Interest Lawyer, for ALC’s “Distinguished Lecture Series – An Expert Talk”, on Saturday, 31st August, 2019.
Mr. Prashant Bhushan, is a prominent public interest lawyer in the Supreme Court of India who fought against several cases related to corruption, environmental protection, and human rights. He also dealt with major cases like Commonwealth Games and Adarsh scam. He played a remarkable role in India against Corruption (IAC) movement which supported Anna Hazare’s campaign for the implementation of the Jan Lokpal Bill. He was also one of the founding members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
