CLAT 2020: Rescheduled on 21st June 2020 ( Sunday)

In view of the continuing lockdown arising out of Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the entrance exam for the National Law Universities (NLUs) undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes – viz., the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 – has been postponed yet again! The registration process for the exam will now remain open till 18th May 2020 and for those who have not yet applied for the exam, they can do so at the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on 10th May 2020, it was then postponed to 24th May 2020. As per the latest circular, CLAT 2020 will now be conducted on 21st June 2020 from 3 to 5 pm. The National Law School of India University, Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru – the exam conducting institute for this year – in an official notification dated 21st April 2020 notified that the delay is because of the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.

Beginning this year, the number of questions has been reduced from 200 questions to 150 questions carrying 1 marks each and there shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
