As one of the top law college in Delhi NCR, the robust placement cell at Asian Law College has been functioning effectively since the inception of the college. The cell has grown along with the law college over time.
Every year, Asian Law College hosts organizations from a plethora of different industries and sectors offering diverse profiles across verticals and functional domains to its law graduates. In fact, it hosts well over 300 organizations on-campus every year. The top recruiters at the school are from different sectors namely Corporate Houses, Law Firms, Administrative bodies, Ngo’s etc. The number of organizations and the stipend offered has consistently increased over the years.
From just placing students to actively playing a role in grooming and moulding a student to be Corporate- leader , the Centre for Skill Development (CSD) at Asian Law College plays an active role. The mirrors and Individual development Plan of each and every student, the Various Training programs and other activities are designed by CSD to sharpen the basic legal acumen of ALC law graduate students.
Internships and live projects are a serious affair and the placement cell at Asian Law College is actively involved in summer internship placements. ALC students are placed across industries, verticals and roles.
The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) at Asian Law College (ALC) gives utmost importance to assist the law student in getting suitable internship and subsequent placements after successful completion of their studies. CRC ensures that every student of ALC gets the right skill and domain knowledge so that they are easily acceptable to the industry.
Broadly, Law graduates’ placements at Asian Law College consist of the following process:
- Summer Internships (May-June every year)
- Final Placements (after Graduation)
For each of the above summer internship and placement processes, the following procedure is adopted:
- Confirmation of participation in placements process by the company
- Pre-placement talks by company representatives
- Applications from ALC Law students & Shortlisting
- Group Discussions/Personal Interviews (GDPI) &internship/ Job Offers
