As we all know, CBSE has decided to cancel the remaining papers for Class 10 & 12. After the cancellation of Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Board Exam 2020 for both the classes, students and parents are having the query about when CBSE 10th and 12th result will be announced by the Board. So, putting an end to these queries, the CBSE Board has decided to announce the CBSE Result 2020 by 15th July 2020. The result would be prepared on the basis of assessment parameters for both Class 10th and 12th which has been approvced by Hon’ble Supreme Court.
As for the calculation of the result, the board would be releasing the results based on the internal assessment for previous three papers for all the students for the exams that were not conducted. The marks for the internal and the papers that were conducted would be taken as is. For class 10, there would be no option for change – but for CBSE Class 12, students would have an option to appear for the examination.
Clarifying to the SC, the board’s spokesperson has stated that no examinations would be conducted in July 2020. However, for Class 12 students, there would be an option to appear for the examination later when the situation is conducive.
For the students who decide to appear for the examination conducted by the board at a later date, the marks scored in the exams would be considered as final.
As for the internal assessment, the exact percentage of marks that would be awarded and the formula has not been shared by the board as of now. However, it is expected to be released by CBSE on cbse.nic.in soon. Students would have ample time to decide.
