
Dr. Swati Saxena is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Asian Law College, Noida. She holds a Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Lucknow, where she completed her research on “Role of National Green Tribunal in Protecting the Right to Life in India: A Study with Special Reference to Landmark Judgments of the Tribunal.” An alumna of Delhi University, she holds two master’s degrees—one in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and another in Political Science from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). She has also qualified the UGC-NET in Political Science. With over eight years of teaching experience, she has been actively engaged in both academic instruction and research. She has presented papers at various national and international conferences and has published research articles in reputed journals. She also serves as a reviewer for the Indian Law Institute (ILI) Law Journal. Her areas of academic interest include environmental governance, public policy, and constitutional law, with a particular focus on the intersection of law and political processes.
