
Ms. Noyonika Gogoi is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Law Department at Asian Law College. She holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law from Gauhati University, Assam, and is pursuing Ph.D. from Sibsagar University, Department of Law and Public Policy. She has over six years of diverse experience in academia, corporate sector, and International NGOs. She has worked as a Research Associate at India’s first Animal Law Centre at NALSAR University, Hyderabad. Her specialization lies in Animal Laws. She has presented research papers at various national and international conferences and has published newspaper articles and chapters in reputed books. She is the author of the book Role of Sustainable Development Goals in Nation Building. She has conducted several seminars and workshops on Animal Laws and was recognized by the Central Bank of India as one of the Top 10 Influential Women in Social Work. Her area of research, interest and teaching are Environment Law, Animal Law, Contract, Criminology.
