Mr. Shivam Jaiswal is associated with Asian Law College as Assistant Professor of History & Head-Academics. He completed his B.A. (Hons.) in History from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, and pursued his M.A. in History from Ramjas College, University of Delhi, with a specialisation in Medieval History. He has cleared the UGC-NET-JRF in History and is presently pursuing his PhD in the field of Maratha Historiography from Banasthali University. His areas of interest include economic and subaltern history, as well as gender politics. He has also conducted research for the Ministry of Culture (Government of India) under their initiative, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, where the lives of unsung heroes of the Indian Independence struggle are being documented.
