
Dr. Seema Pradhan is Professor of Economics at Asian Law College, bringing more than three decades of classroom and institutional leadership to the discipline. A Gold-medalist in M.Ed. from Patna University and holder of a Ph.D. (LNMU, 2002), she began her career as a Post-Graduate Teacher of Economics (1995-2009), later heading Kendriya Vidyalayas nationwide. Her pedagogy focuses on demystifying economic theory through real-world case studies, interdisciplinary projects and data-driven, student-centered learning strategies. Her research spans agricultural productivity trends during plan periods in Bihar, adolescent economic literacy, women’s economic empowerment and educational pedagogy. She is a published author and has articles published in some reputed journals and peer-reviewed journals and is also a frequent voice on All India Radio and Doordarshan. She has received recognitions from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and the HRD Minister of India for exemplary leadership.
