Asian Law College secured First Runner Up position along with Rs. 15,000/- cash prize in National Street Play Competition, 2023 organized by Department of Justice, Government of India and District Legal Services Authority, Gautam Buddha Nagar

The students of Asian Law College participated in the ‘National Street Play Competition, 2023’ organized by Department of Justice, Government of India and District Legal Services Authority, Gautam Buddha Nagar, under the theme of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ or ‘One Earth One Family, One Future’ wherein the registrations were invited till 05.08.23. After due process of selection, the ALC Legal Aid Center selected one team with team leader Riktika (Batch LL.B. 2021) to represent ALC in the competition. Despite being engaged in internships the students practiced very well to make through the competition. It is an opportunity where students can showcase their ideas through script and presentation. The competition took place in two phases. At the first stage a copy of the performance was to be submitted along with the script of the play. After scrutiny, 5 teams based on highest score would be going to the final round of the competition and our college was successful to make an entry in Finale. The theme of our team was ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – Accepting Diversity and Celebrating Unity’. It was an amazing experience for the team. Students overcome the difficulty in managing the time constraints. They carved out a perfect balance in managing the internships as well as scheduled practices for the performance. It is their hardwork and will to excel in performing that kept them going. The final round was in organized in the campus of School of Law, Galgotias University. The event was adjudged in the presence of the following valued dignitaries

Our Team was one of the five finalist and won the First Runner Up prize at national level. Cash prize of Rs15,000 and certificate of merit is awarded to the team.
