A DROP FOR A CAUSE: BLOOD DONATION INITIATIVE AT ASIAN LAW COLLEGE

Asian Law College, Noida organized a Blood Donation Camp on 17th March 2025 for all the Batches of B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. students in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Rashtriya Charitable Blood Centre, Noida. The primary objective of the camp was to encourage students to contribute to a life-saving cause and promote a spirit of social responsibility and charity within the student community.

Students from all batches of B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. were informed about the initiative and encouraged to participate. The camp received a substantial number of registrations, and most applicants were deemed eligible to participate and successfully donated blood after undergoing a mandatory health check-up, which included screening of basic health parameters such as blood pressure, hemoglobin level, and overall fitness. The camp was well-equipped with all necessary medical infrastructure to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for donors. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students expressing a sense of fulfillment in contributing to a noble cause. Post-donation, all donors were provided with refreshments and kept under observation to ensure their well-being. The NSS members played an instrumental role in coordinating the camp—from spreading awareness and managing registrations to ensuring the smooth execution of the entire process. Special thanks are due to all the NSS volunteers who supported the event logistics and donor care throughout the day.

The team from Rashtriya Charitable Blood Centre, Noida, provided professional medical support and ensured that all safety protocols and guidelines were strictly followed. Their contribution was crucial in making the camp a success. The Blood Donation Camp proved to be a successful initiative, reinforcing the values of empathy and social contribution among students. Such initiatives continue to reflect Asian Law College’s commitment to fostering responsible, community-oriented legal professionals.
