Asian Law College, Noida organized an educational visit on 21st–22nd February 2025 for B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. students to Vidhi Utsav, an initiative by OakBridge Publishing, held at the Constitution Club of India. This enriching event aimed to provide students with a deeper insight into contemporary legal discourse and explore the intersection of law, literature, and knowledge dissemination. The students were accompanied by faculty members Ms. Gaurika Sharma and Ms. Ankita Kaushik, Assistant Professors of Law and members of the Student Career Development Cell (SCDC). The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to engage with eminent legal minds and gain practical exposure beyond the classroom setting.
The visit featured insightful panel discussions, book launches, and interactive sessions, focusing on legal research, publishing, and the evolving role of law in society. A key attraction was the panel discussion on Law and Literature, featuring esteemed legal scholars, authors, and members of the judiciary, including Hon’ble Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Shri Kapil Sibal, and Shri Salman Khurshid. The discussion shed light on emerging trends in legal literature and the impact of digital platforms on knowledge sharing. Panelists emphasized the transformative power of literature in shaping legal thought, and how storytelling can humanize the law and make complex legal ideas more accessible. The discussion also explored how digital media is revolutionizing both legal education and public engagement with the law, paving the way for more inclusive and participatory legal discourse.
