Asian Law College, Noida, organized the Semi Finale of Mega Event “Social Change-Maker Champion of the Year 2024-25” on 25th March 2025. The semi-final round was held on 25th March 2025 Out of more than 400 entries, 35 students were chosen to advance to the semi-final round. The competition commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries and judged by distinguished personalities committed to social welfare. Esteemed guests and judges included Yogita Bhayana (Pari Foundation), Mr. Sunil Jaglan (SWD Foundation), Mr. Raj Singh Niranjan (Dr. Gopal Energy Foundation), Sudipta Maity (Ednas Welfare Foundation), Abhishake Shukla (SEED Foundation), Vaidehi Subramani (Former CWC Chairperson), Pooja Sharma (Bright The Soul Foundation), and Mrs. Rashmi Shukla (The Bette India).
The competition was conducted across multiple classrooms, with each room assigned two esteemed judges to evaluate the presentations made by the students. This format allowed for focused attention and constructive feedback, ensuring every participant had a fair opportunity to showcase their work. The finalists presented their social initiatives through engaging and well-structured presentations, highlighting their experiences, the challenges they overcame, lessons learned throughout their journey, and their plans for sustaining and scaling their efforts in the future. The participants had been actively involved in addressing a wide array of social issues including women empowerment, education for the underprivileged, sanitation and hygiene promotion, slum education programs, improving access to healthcare, environmental clean-up drives, and animal welfare initiatives. Their commitment to creating meaningful impact in society was clearly reflected in the depth and sincerity of their work.
The competition concluded with the much-anticipated announcement of the seven finalists who would proceed to the Grand Finale. These students were selected based on the tangible impact, innovation, and sustainability of their year-long social projects. The judges commended the participants for their dedication and praised Asian Law College for fostering a strong culture of social responsibility. As a token of appreciation, the distinguished judges were felicitated with mementos, acknowledging their valuable time and support.
