Coffee Chat with Ms. Vanshika Jain of B.A. LL. B. (2017-2022)

Asian Law College, Noida, hosted an engaging Alumni Coffee Chat on 22nd November 2024, under the patronage of the Alumni Association featuring the accomplished alumnus Ms. Vanshika Jain of the BA.LL.B. 2017-2022 Batch. Ms. Jain is currently serving as the Executive Member of the District Bar Association, Ludhiana. In the session, Ms. Jain graciously shared her professional journey, experiences, and invaluable insights into legal practice and bar association elections.

The event was graced by Mr. Ashish Bhardawaj, Associate Dean of Asian Law College, esteemed faculty members, and the students of BA.LL.B. And LL.B. Batches. The session commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Tanushree Shrivastav, Convener Training & Development Cell. Mr. Bhardawaj expressed his delight in hosting such an inspiring alumnus and emphasized the importance of connecting with alumni to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world practice. The session began by reflecting on her enriching journey at ALC through a video clip showcasing her time in ALC being the active student where her foundation for success was laid. Ms. Jain shared her experiences transitioning into the legal profession and how she successfully contested the election for Executive Member of the District Bar Association, Ludhiana. She also provided detailed insights on the rigorous preparation, strategic campaigning, and the importance of building strong professional networks during the election process.

She highlighted the critical role of effective communication and public speaking skills played in earning the trust of her peers and emphasized the significance of perseverance and integrity in achieving professional milestones. She further encouraged aspiring lawyers to actively engage in bar activities to gain practical exposure and build their reputation within the legal fraternity. In the interactive Q&A session, students eagerly sought advice on entering the legal profession and tips on balancing bar association responsibilities with personal practice. Ms. Jain also shared motivational anecdotes, urging students to stay committed to their goals despite challenges.

As a token of appreciation, Ms. Jain was felicitated with a memento.
