The Legal Aid Centre of Asian Law College participated in a Nukkad Natak (street play) in compliance with the circular issued by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) on September 26, 2024, to promote cleanliness on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 1, 2024. The students from Asian Law College performed Nukkad Natak at the District Legal Services Authority in Noida. The theme of the Nukkad Natak centered around cleanliness and environmental awareness and it emphasized the importance of safeguarding society and the environment.
The event was attended by the District and Sessions Judge, joined by several respected officials such as Traffic Control Officers, Judicial Officers, and the Registrar. The students’ performance shed light on pressing concerns like pollution, waste management, and the shared duty of everyone to uphold a clean and sustainable world. The students’ portrayal of characters grappling with pollution, waste management, and the consequences of environmental degradation highlighted the urgent need for collective action.
