Noida, 16th February, 2024: Sector 125, Noida-based Asian Law College – which is a part of Asian Education Group and is ranked as one of the best Law Colleges in Delhi NCR – Group issued a social grant of Rs. 1 Lakh cheque to the winner Apurwa Srivastava of the Mega Event “Social Change-Maker Champion of the Year 2022- 23” on 16th February, 2024 focusing on social welfare and social upliftment providing a platform to all the ALC students. Only 12 students were able to reach the set mark of the finale based on the social work they have done throughout the year.
The Grand Finale was honored with the presence of Asia’s Most prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Awardee who is imprinting footprints on the society Dr. Rajendra Singh “Jal Purush”, Waterman of India, founder of Tarun Bharat Sangh (TBS) and Prime Minister Awardee Ripu Daman Bevli, founder of litter free India and ambassador of FIT India Movement as the chief guests and judges for the competition.
The event also witnessed the presence of Asian Education Group’s leadership and Asian Law College’s academic team, which included Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG); Mr. Saurabh Sharma, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG); Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina Director-Asian Education Group (AEG); and Mr. Ashish Bhardawaj, Assistant Dean-Asian Law College (ALC) who hosted the event on behalf of the institute.
Apurwa Srivastava from the B.A.LL.B Batch 2020 emerged as the Social Change Maker Champion of the year 2022-23. She was awarded with a social grant of Rs.1 lakh, a MacBook, a trophy, digital and web presence.
