LEGAL LECTURE SERIES: THE SCOPE OF CYBER LAW AND CYBER JURISPRUDENCE BY JUSTICE TALWANT SINGH

The Asian Law College, Noida organized the Legal Lecture Series, Season 8 on 7th February, 2024 for the students of B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. The objective of this session was to ensure the understanding of the students in the domain of The Scope of Cyber Law and Cyber Jurisprudence. The session explored the dynamic changes occurring in cyber law and their ramifications on legal principles and practices. The session aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the legal challenges posed by cyberspace and highlight emerging trends in cyber jurisprudence.

The session commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Ashish Bhardawaj, Assistant Dean of ALC, extending gratitude to the esteemed speaker, Justice Talwant Singh, Senior Advocate, and former Judge, Delhi High Court. The session was also graced with the presence of Prof. Dr. Saleem Akhtar (Director Academic Advisory Board), Mr. Ravee Sharma, Dean, Corporate Resource Cell, Mr. Pawan Kumar Yadav, HOD, Corporate Resource Cell, and Ms. Divyasha Dubey, Program Chair B.A. LL.B. and faculty members.

The esteemed speaker for the session began by introducing cyber laws and cyber jurisprudence, gaining valuable insights into the legal challenges and opportunities in cyberspace. The session also covered topics such as data privacy, cyber security regulations, digital rights, and the legal framework for combating cybercrimes. The students engaged in lively interactive knowledge-sharing sessions, enriching their understanding of complex legal issues in the digital age.
