This significant event was organized by The Bar Council of India and took place at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on September 23-24, 2023.
Representing Asian Law College, a distinguished academic team comprising Mr. Amit Nagar, Program convener, LL.B, Ms. Divyasha Dubey, Program convener, B.A.LL.B, Ms. Kajul Sharma, Assistant Professor of law, and Mr. Pankaj Mishra Assistant Professor of law alongside numerous students from different batches of the B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. programmes actively participated and contributed to the intellectual discourse that characterized the conference.

Collaboratively presented by The Bar Council of India, the Law Society of England and Wales, the Bar Council of England and Wales, and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association, the International Lawyers’ Conference 2023 aimed to facilitate introspective discourse and constructive dialogue on a wide range of topics concerning the Bar, the Bench, and the legal profession.
The conference’s inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, who inaugurated the two-day event. Dr. D.Y. Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, was honored as the Chief Guest for this auspicious occasion. Additionally, the ceremony saw the esteemed presence of other notable figures including ministers and judges of the Hon’ble. Supreme Court of India.
The conference featured ten technical sessions, which garnered the active involvement of Judges, Parliamentarians, and legal luminaries.
