August 31st, 2024 marked a significant day in Asian Law College as this day witnessed its 13th Convocation Ceremony held at the Campus of Asian Education Group, Noida. The ceremony was indeed special as it was presided over by Shri Ram Nath Kovind- Former 14th President of India. The Honorable chief guest unfurled the national flag etching a moment in history as waves of patriotism swept through the crowd. The official ceremony started with the formal student procession which was further followed by an academic procession attended by several dignitaries.
The ceremony marked the presence of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, Asian Education Group, Mr. Akshay Marwah, CEO Asian Education Group, Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Education Group, Dr. Saurabh Sharma, Director, Asian Education Group, Dr. Gurdeep Singh Raina, Director, Asian Education Group, His Excellency Dr. Ali Achoui, Ambassador of Algeria to India, Jacqueline Mukangira, High Commissioner of Rwanda to India, Mustapha Jawara, High Commissioner of The Gambia to India, Mr. Lazar Vukadinovic, Deputy Head of the Mission, Embassy of Serbia, Capaya Rodriguez Gonzalez Ambassador of Venezuela, Commander K.L Ganju, Consul General of Republic of Union of Comoros. along with the Dean, Head of departments and the faculty members.
Donning gleaming caps and gowns, all dignitaries adorned the dais. After the formal initiation of the ceremony which included the customary invocation song and lighting of the lamp, the program coordinator extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries, invitees, faculty members, parents, and graduands. Each dignitary was felicitated with mementos and bouquets to show the heartfelt gratitude. Mr. Akshay Marwah, CEO, Asian Education Group, announced the grand opening of the graduation day. The ceremony began with a captivating address by Dr. Saurabh Sharma, Director, Asian Education Group, followed by the presentation of the academic report by Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Education Group. On similar notes, all the esteemed dignitaries shared their thoughts, life journeys, and inspired them to move toward their life vision. This was followed by an oath-taking ceremony, recited by Dr. Shweta Batra, Dean Examinations, Asian Education Group.
This year’s Convocation Ceremony of Asian Law College marked another significant milestone as the college felicitated Distinguished Faculty Awards 2024 along with awarding medals and diplomas to all graduands. The grand prelude was followed by the awarding of diplomas and certificates to other graduates. Bhoomika Bhatia from the B.A.LL. B program (2018-2023) and Sangita from the LL.B. program (2020-2023) were honored with gold medals for their outstanding academic achievements. Assistant professor. Ms. Swati Saxena, was awarded ‘The Distinguished Faculty Award-2024’ for impacting students’ life most positively.
The ceremony was charged up with the address of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President AEG and other distinguished dignitaries present. The event also witnessed the release of a special book titled Accomplishments, authored by Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The highlight of the Convocation ceremony was the chief guest Shri Ram Nath Kovind’s address which captivated the audience and transported them to a different realm of a strong India.
The ceremony concluded with a gracious expression of gratitude by Dr. Gurdeep Singh Raina, Director AEG, who gave a vote of thanks and appreciated everyone who took the time to attend the ceremony. The event concluded with a mesmerizing photoshoot of smiling graduands, with tears in their eyes, and happy memories of Asian Law College in their heart.
